Vintage weddingdress

Instyle magazine managed to gather ten attractive designs of vintage wedding dresses created by some of the top fashion designers. The designs are said to be made for the upcoming film “Twilight: Eclipse.” The movie, which stars Kristin Stewart and Robert Pattinson, has gotten so much media hype that even the wedding dress that Stewart will wear for the film is a big deal. According to reports, the wedding dress will have an early 19th century look that will complement the antique engagement ring that the lead character Bella will have. “Eclipse” is slated for release next year but some of the top designers such as Monique Lhuillier, Christian Siriano, Max Azaria, Lela Rose, Prabal Gurang, Zac Posen and Badgley Mischka have presented their ideas and designs and were displayed online. However, the wait for the final verdict will be long but worth it for the fans.

At this day and age, most of the couples planning to get married are probably thinking of saving up on money for this special day. This doesn’t mean that they’d resort to things that would make the wedding a disaster. In fact, one of the major factors that should be considered is the bride-to-be’s wedding dress.

Wedding dresses don’t come cheap but the good thing is, there’s always a solution to these kinds of problems. Take a look:

• Wear mom’s wedding dress: If the design is a bit old fashion, the dress can be altered a bit by a local dressmaker. It prevents humongous spending on a dress and at the same time, the dress worn came from someone very special.

• Get the dress “off the rack.” There are several discount stores that sell elegant looking wedding dresses at reasonable prices. Designer wedding dresses need not come from high-end stores.

• The last resort would be renting the wedding dress. There are a lot of shops who offer this kind of opportunity.

Now that the wedding dress problem is solved, it’s time to move on to other wedding matters.
