A Hollywood actress is now one of those who praised the wedding gown of Kate Middleton, who wed Prince William early this year. Anna Paquin says that the new Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown was a “whole new take” on the word ‘royal’.

Paquin says that the wedding gown was “gorgeous. Just gorgeous.”

Middleton wore a stunning Sarah Burton gown when she married Britain’s Prince William in April of this year. The 29-year-old wowed in the beautiful satin and lace gown with a nine foot train.

Paquin, who says she is a fan of British fashion designer Burton, says that the wedding gown was “gorgeous. Just gorgeous. I mean, it’s a whole new take on ‘royal.’

“I always loved Alexander McQueen. I love what Sarah Burton is doing with the house now. I wore one of her dresses to the [2010] Emmys, shortly after he passed away, and then I got to meet her in London and she showed me around the showroom,” Paquin told Stylist magazine.

“It was amazing.”

The Massachusetts governor did double duty for his own daughter’s wedding. Not only did he give his daughter away but he was also the one who officiated the wedding ceremony.

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick gave away his elder daughter Sarah Baker Patrick to Marco Morgese this past weekend. Governor Patrick said that he also officiated the wedding ceremony.

In an announcement released to the media, the Governor’s Office revealed that Sarah Baker Patrick married Marco Morgese on Sunday at the Patricks’ “Sweet P Farm” in Richmond.

“The governor officiated at the ceremony,” said the spartan announcement.

“The family plans to have a celebration for friends and extended family next summer.”

The Massachusetts governor and his wife Diane have a second daughter named Katherine.

No other details about the recently concluded wedding were made available.

In recent weeks, some media practitioners questioned the absence of the governor in many public events. Only now has it been made clear that he was on and off duty because he and his family were preparing for a wedding.

The celebrity’s longtime trainer, Christopher Lane, said that the wedding dress was a perfect choice since it accentuates the curvy body of the celebrity. He added that the dress accentuated the tiny waist and the right curves were emphasized during the ceremony.

Actress Kristen Stewart catches global media attention once more when she revealed in a recent interview that she called the shot in choosing the wedding dress for her role in the highly popular film “Twilight,” specifically on its upcoming installment titled “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.”

According to magazine reports, the performer walked down the aisle in an eco-friendly wedding dress created by Vermont-based fashion designer Tara Lynn. Lynn uses natural fibers in making her creations.

The designer said that the dress featured a detachable train that’s decorated with seashells, beads and macramé. Lynn said she had collected these items since childhood and the outcome was a simple yet beautiful dress that fits the bride.

Walker and Bowersox announced their engagement a few months ago and the wedding took place in the nightclub where they first met. It was a simple and intimate wedding attended by close friends and family.
