A Hollywood actress is now one of those who praised the wedding gown of Kate Middleton, who wed Prince William early this year. Anna Paquin says that the new Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown was a “whole new take” on the word ‘royal’.

Paquin says that the wedding gown was “gorgeous. Just gorgeous.”

Middleton wore a stunning Sarah Burton gown when she married Britain’s Prince William in April of this year. The 29-year-old wowed in the beautiful satin and lace gown with a nine foot train.

Paquin, who says she is a fan of British fashion designer Burton, says that the wedding gown was “gorgeous. Just gorgeous. I mean, it’s a whole new take on ‘royal.’

“I always loved Alexander McQueen. I love what Sarah Burton is doing with the house now. I wore one of her dresses to the [2010] Emmys, shortly after he passed away, and then I got to meet her in London and she showed me around the showroom,” Paquin told Stylist magazine.

“It was amazing.”

Paquin stars in the popular show “True Blood.”

The new wife of Greece’s Prince Nikolaos stunned everyone with her ravishing look as she walked down the aisle. Newlywed princess Tatiana looked very much a royal figure as she dazzled everyone including her new husband.
She wore a very sophisticated-looking gown designed by New York-based Venezuelan fashion designer Angel Sanchez. The bride arrived at the venue by horse-drawn carriage. She wore a strapless gown that has a moulded bodice that accentuated her very slender waist. Wearing a full-length veil, she was assisted by no less than the fashion designer as she went down the carriage.

She also wore a great-looking headpiece that was worn in the past by Crown Prince Pavlov’s wife Marie-Chantal during the latter’s wedding 15 years ago. The headpiece started as a brooch that belonged to Queen Victoria of Sweden’s daughter Ingrid but was later designed to become a headpiece.

Despite her financial woes, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson still made it to her half-sister’s Alice Ferguson’s wedding and she donned on an unusual bridesmaid dress as she witnessed her sister walk down the aisle.

Ferguson has been keeping a low profile lately due to the scandals that she was involved with recently.

In the wedding, Fergie, as she is popularly called, seemed happy as she greeted fellow attendees. She was wearing a multicolored silk dress with embroidered cropped jacket. The dress looked very elegant and to some onlookers, still looked very expensive and fitting for the royal figure.

Alice Ferguson is the daughter of Sarah’s late father and second wife Susan Deptford. She was a bridesmaid when Sarah was married to Prince Andrew a few decades ago. Now a director of a travel company, the new bride is based in Singapore with new husband Nick Stileman who is an Australian banker.
