A bridal lingerie made quite a splash during the recently concluded Berlin Fashion Week. This, after the bridal lingerie turned out to be the wedding outfit itself!

The Kaviar Gauche designed g-string wedding outfit made its debut at the Berlin Fashion Week and got a lot of tongues wagging. The question now is - are consumers, particularly excited brides to be, ready to wear such an edgy bridal lingerie cum bridal gown?

The risque g-string wedding dress looks like a bra and a barely there thong joined together by a central slip. The bride will then also need to wear a translucent wedding veil during her big wedding march and wedding day.

Some fashion observers also describe the edgy Kaviar Gauche wedding outfit as a monokini-style swimsuit - a swimsuit connected on the front by a thin strip.

The bridal house of Kaviar Gauche is composed by Alexandra Fischer Roehler and Johanna Kuhl. The said bridal house started in the year 2003. This bridal lingerie is said to be its most risky yet.

The g-string wedding outfit is part of their spring 2012 collection.

Fischer Roehler and Kuhl are mavericks of the bridal design world. They took quite the risk but managed to really grab a lot of attention around the world with the risque garment. Their g-string wedding creation comes after world renowned designer Vera Wang also released her black wedding dresses during New York’s bridal fashion week.

Fashion designer Douglas Hannant is ready to expand his business empire. Having known for creating evening and wedding wear, Hannant is slated to include lingerie, bridal accessories and fragrance which will captivate women everywhere.

Being in the industry for 13 years, Hannant already has a penchant in terms of designing clothing.
According to reports, the luxury perfume called Douglas Hannant de Robert Piguet will be unveiled at the New York City’s The Plaza Hotel later this year.

A potential collaboration proposal was sent by Robert Piguet Parfums to the designer in which the latter agreed after finding that it is beneficial for both parties. Perfume developer Aurélien Guichard of Givaudan created the fragrances which were labeled and sealed individually with silver thread to give it a touch of elegance.

The fragrance is scheduled for sale on February 2011.
