Valerie Bartinelli's Wedding DressAccording to the report, Bertinelli hired the services of popular fashion designer David Meister and the order was a rushed one, wherein the dress had to be created in less than two weeks. A front leg slit further enhances the sexy body of Bertinelli. The promotion of the highly anticipated release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One” next month hit a little snag as the film’s costume designer was accused of allegedly ripping off one of the designs of late celebrity fashion designer Alexander McQueen in one of the film’s major characters.

Costume designer Jany Temime stated in an interview with Los Angeles Times about her inspiration behind the wedding gown worn by character Fleur Delacour (played by actress Clémence Poésy) for her marriage to Bill Weasley. However, when the design was unveiled, one of the bloggers stated that it was a rip-off from McQueen’s autumn/winter 2008 collection.

As of now, there’s no official statement coming from the officials from Alexander McQueen’s company and Temime’s side has yet to be taken about this latest allegation.

Harry Potter is scheduled for release on November 19.

Grammy-Award winning artist Lady Gaga may very well go nude when she walks down the aisle. According to reports, pictures of her purported wedding dress emerged online and in tabloid magazines.

The “Bad Romance” singer was photographed taking part in a spiritual wedding ceremony and her outfit pretty much caught everyone’s attention.

Paparazzi photos revealed that the artist and her fiancé Luc Carl were exchanging wedding rings at a Grecian beach. Lady Gaga was wedding a wedding dress that had a huge slit and plunging neckline. The revealing ensemble still made her look sexy but classy at the same time. Lady Gaga is notorious for having a racey sense of fashion, and this latest stunt has many wondering what kind of lingerie she must have been wearing in order to wear such a dress… if any!

The 24-year old artist and 29-year old boyfriend/fiancé have been dating on and off for several years. It was reported last month that the pair had reunited and will seal their relationship with marriage.

Despite this development, it is yet to be determined if the event was really their wedding or just something that they thought of doing that weekend.

Australian bridal gown retailers revealed that despite the trend these days where brides would like to experiment and go for outrageously designed wedding gowns, majority would still go for classic bridal gowns because they would still prefer to stick with tradition.

Angela Wilson, an owner of her own bridal shop, said that even though traditional church weddings are going down in number, brides-to-be still opt for the classic dresses.

Bigger dresses are also being preferred by more of her buyers rather than the slimming gowns because the width of the skirts are being appreciated.

Wilson said that she just conducted a major fashion show and it proved very fruitful after she met 120 brides in just a matter of two days.

Instead of the traditional white colors for the bridal gowns, more women are choosing other brighter colors for their wedding outfits, along with more risque wedding lingerie.

Smart couples these days carefully consider all wedding expenses, from the invitations and flowers, to venue and honeymoon, mainly owing to the recession. So, I’ve here are two key points that any budget-friendly wedding should definately consider:

•    Use of the internet: With more people being connected with the internet, it is easy for couples to send their wedding invitations online. Many wedding services can also be compared on line, which will help you find the best and most competitive deal out there for you.

•    That wedding dress: Instead of going to wedding dress sections in department stores, check with close family relatives and friends if they have a wedding dress that you can buy or borrow because chances are they may be able to let go of these dresses because it will go to someone special like you. Plus, the dress may look be rather vintage!
